Knox County Health Department
Amy Rowling is the Violence Prevention and Public Health Educator at the Knox County Health Department. In her position, she presents on the topics of healthy vs. unhealthy relationships, intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and child sexual abuse prevention. She is also a facilitator for the Building Strong Brains-Tennessee's ACEs Initiative and offers presentations on ACEs, trauma-informed approaches, and self-care. Prior to that, she was the Education and Prevention Coordinator at the Sexual Assault Center of East Tennessee. Her work is focused on empowering individuals through awareness, education, and self-care.
